Fire & Building Compliance Suite

A subscription suite of nine browser-based tools mapped to Australian NCC and AS standards for building and fire compliance, with report export.

The challenge

Australian building and fire compliance work is scattered across a stack of standards, from bushfire attack level assessment to fire dampers, penetrations, egress and evacuation planning. Practitioners were doing the same calculations by hand and rebuilding the same report templates project after project.

They needed consistent, repeatable self-assessment tools that mapped to the relevant NCC and AS standards and produced a defensible record, without a heavyweight desktop install.

Our solution

We built the Fire and Building Compliance Suite as nine focused tools under one subscription, each mapped to the relevant Australian standard and each producing an exportable report. It runs in the browser and installs as a PWA, so it is available on site as well as in the office.

The suite shares the same account, billing and offline foundation as our other SaaS products, isolated per user.

Tech stack

The outcome

A single subscription now puts nine NCC/AS self-assessment tools in the browser, replacing a drawer full of spreadsheets and templates. It is live and running on a subscription model with a free trial.

It was the first of our compliance products and set the pattern for the cyber, AML and accreditation suites that followed.
