As the RACGP and the Scheme publish transition guidance for the next (6th) edition, we plan to update the tool to help practices map existing evidence, identify new gaps and prepare for the next accreditation cycle. We do not claim full 6th edition support until the final standards are published and verified.
Practice Accreditation does not replace the RACGP, your accrediting agency, or professional accreditation advice. Compared with a spreadsheet checklist, it keeps criteria, evidence, must-meet flags and gaps together and always current. Compared with an accreditation consultant, it is a structured, always-available way for your team to self-assess and organise evidence between engagements. And it never stands in for your accrediting agency, which conducts the formal survey - it simply gets you ready for it. Use the software to prepare; seek professional advice where you need it.
