About this PNG to JPEG converter
A batch PNG to JPEG converter that runs in the page. Drop in as many PNGs as you like, set the quality once, and take the whole set back as a zip.
The part most converters get wrong is transparency. JPEG has no alpha channel, so every transparent pixel has to become something — and if the converter picks black, a sprite with soft edges comes back with a dark halo. Here you choose the background colour the transparency is flattened onto.
How to use it

Set the JPEG quality between 10 and 100. Around 85 is the usual balance of size against artefacts.
Set the background colour that transparent pixels will be flattened onto — match it to the background the image will sit on.
