WordPress Development in Sydney

WordPress runs a large share of Australian business websites, and most of its bad reputation comes from how it is usually assembled rather than from WordPress itself - a purchased theme, a page builder, and twenty plugins each solving one problem and creating two.

Built deliberately, it is a perfectly good content platform for a business that wants to edit its own pages.

What we do with WordPress

When we would suggest something else

If nobody on your team edits content, a static site is faster, cheaper to host and harder to break. WordPress earns its place when people genuinely publish.

What it costs

A starter site is A$1,500 in about two weeks; a business site with a CMS is A$3,000 over three to four weeks. Ongoing maintenance is A$250 a month.

Common questions

Should we use a page builder?

They make the first build easy and every later change slower, and they are the most common cause of the slow WordPress sites we are asked to fix. We build themes instead.

Can you fix a site somebody else built?

Yes, that is a large share of the WordPress work we do. It starts with an audit.

Is WordPress secure?

Core is well maintained. Most compromises come through outdated plugins, which is what maintenance is for.
