Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Storyboard Studio, a product of BizziGroup ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Storyboard Studio you confirm you can form a binding contract and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Storyboard Studio is a browser-based tool for writing scripts, creating storyboards, building animatics and setting shot details, with options to export your work. The service is provided on an ongoing, evolving basis - features may be added, changed or removed.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial that lets you create, arrange and play back storyboards. Exporting requires a paid subscription. No credit card is required to start the trial.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans (Pro, Studio, Studio+) are billed annually in advance in Australian dollars (AUD) through Stripe. The advertised annual price includes one month free.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled beforehand. Prices are those shown at the time of purchase; we'll give notice of any change before it affects you.
• Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel anytime from the in-app billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid term and does not renew. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on a first subscription - contact us within 30 days of your initial payment for a refund. There are no lock-in contracts or cancellation fees.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing or harmful content; no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; and no reselling or sharing your account beyond your plan's seat allowance.

8. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You own the scripts, storyboards and other content you create. We claim no ownership of it. Because your work is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for keeping your own backups via export. Storyboard Studio, its software, branding and design remain our intellectual property.

9. Availability

We aim for reliable, uninterrupted access but don't guarantee it. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded - nothing here limits those.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or work that you did not export and back up. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
