Smart Material Studio is a product of BizziGroup ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Smart Material Studio, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the Smart Material Studio website and app at bizzigrp.com/smart-material-studio.

Your work stays with you. Smart Material Studio is free with no account and no login. The materials, painted textures, maps and projects you create - and any 3D models you import - are processed entirely in your own browser and saved locally (browser storage / IndexedDB). Nothing you make or import is uploaded to us.

Information We Collect

No account, no billing data - there is no sign-up, no login and no payment, so we do not collect your name, email, password or any payment details to use the tool.
Usage analytics - we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, de-identified usage (pages viewed, broad device/region). This helps us improve the product.
Your projects - created and stored locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to us.
Support emails - if you email us, we receive your message and email address so we can reply.

How We Use Your Information

To understand and improve how the product is used, in aggregate.
To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not access the contents of your projects.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Smart Material Studio is local-first. Your materials, painted textures and projects live in your browser's storage on the device you use. Clearing your browser data, or using a different device or browser, means that data won't be present. Use the in-app export / save options to keep your own copies.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of trusted providers, each with their own privacy practices:

Google Analytics - aggregate usage analytics.
Netlify - website and application hosting.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser storage to remember your preferences and saved projects, and (via Google Analytics) cookies to measure usage. You can clear or block these in your browser settings, though doing so may remove locally-stored projects.

Data Security

Because your work never leaves your browser, it is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. For the limited analytics we do collect, we use reputable providers and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Data Retention

We do not hold accounts, so there are no account records to retain. Aggregate analytics are retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Your projects remain in your browser until you clear them.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you (for example, a support email). Email us and we'll help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Principles.

Children's Privacy

Smart Material Studio is a creative tool and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
