These terms govern your use of Houdini VEX Lab, a free product of BizziGroup ("we", "us"). By using the tool you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Houdini VEX Lab you confirm you can form a binding contract and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Houdini VEX Lab is a free, browser-based reference and utility for SideFX Houdini artists. It provides a searchable library of VEX code snippets, an expression & HScript cheatsheet, a reference of global variables, and a $JOB project-structure generator. It is an independent productivity aid, provided on an ongoing, evolving basis - features may be added, changed or removed.

3. No Account, No Charge

The tool is free and requires no account or sign-in. There is no subscription, trial or payment of any kind.

4. Your Use & Content

The tool runs in your browser; anything you type, copy or download stays on your device. You are responsible for how you use the snippets and generated files in your own projects. You may freely use the VEX/HScript snippets in your own work.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the website, and no unlawful use.

6. Accuracy & "As Is"

We aim for the snippets and references to be accurate and idiomatic, but they are provided "as is" for educational and productivity purposes. VEX behaviour can vary by context and Houdini version - always verify results in your own scene. To the fullest extent permitted by law we make no warranties; some rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded.

7. Availability & Liability

We aim for reliable access but don't guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the tool or the snippets, including incorrect output or lost work; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service.

8. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

The Houdini VEX Lab software, branding and design remain our intellectual property. Houdini VEX Lab is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Side Effects Software Inc. "Houdini" and "VEX" are trademarks of Side Effects Software Inc., referenced for identification and compatibility only.

9. Changes & Governing Law

We may update these terms; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
