Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Asset Licence Register, a product of BizziGroup ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Asset Licence Register you confirm you can form a binding contract and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Asset Licence Register is a free, browser-based tool for game/VFX studios and contractors to keep a per-project register of the third-party marketplace assets they use, record each asset's licence and proof of purchase, surface plain-English risk flags, and export a licence manifest, credits file and CSV/JSON. The register runs entirely in your browser and is not uploaded to us. The service is provided on an ongoing, evolving basis - features may be added, changed or removed.

3. Free - No Account

The whole tool is free. There is no account, no login, no trial and no subscription or payment of any kind. Every feature is available to everyone.

4. Not Legal Advice

The built-in licence summaries are cautious plain-English paraphrases with links to the authoritative terms, date-stamped when last verified. Marketplace terms change and the authoritative document is always the licence itself. Asset Licence Register is a record-keeping aid, not legal advice and not a guarantee that your use of any asset is licensed. Confirm anything that matters with a qualified professional.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing or harmful use; and no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or the wider site.

6. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You own the register, notes and exports you create. We claim no ownership of them. Because your work is stored locally in your browser, you are responsible for keeping your own backups (use the in-app Backup / export). Asset Licence Register, its software, the licence catalogue text, branding and design remain our intellectual property.

7. Trademarks & Independence

Asset Licence Register is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Epic Games (Fab), Unity, Sketchfab, Adobe or any other marketplace. Marketplace and licence names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. Availability

We aim for reliable access but don't guarantee it. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded - nothing here limits those.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or work that you did not export and back up. As the service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
