Asset Licence Register is a product of BizziGroup ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Asset Licence Register, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the Asset Licence Register website and app at bizzigrp.com/asset-licence-register.

Your register stays with you. Asset Licence Register is free with no account and no login. The projects, assets, licences and notes you record are held entirely in your own browser (local storage) and are never uploaded to us.

Information We Collect

No account, no billing data - there is no sign-up, no login and no payment, so we do not collect your name, email, password or any payment details to use the tool.
Usage analytics - we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, de-identified usage (pages viewed, broad device/region). This helps us improve the product.
Your register - created and stored locally in your browser. It is not transmitted to us.
Support emails / newsletter - if you email us or subscribe to product updates, we receive your message and email address for that purpose.

How We Use Your Information

To understand and improve how the product is used, in aggregate.
To respond to support requests, and to send product-update emails if you subscribed.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not access the contents of your register.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Asset Licence Register is local-first. Your projects and register live in your browser's storage on the device you use. Clearing your browser data, or using a different device or browser, means that data won't be present. Use the in-app Backup (JSON) and export options to keep your own copies.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of trusted providers, each with their own privacy practices:

Google Analytics - aggregate usage analytics.
Netlify - website and application hosting (and the newsletter-subscribe function, if you use it).

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser storage to hold your register and preferences, and (via Google Analytics) cookies to measure usage. You can clear or block these in your browser settings, though doing so may remove your locally-stored register.

Data Security

Because your register never leaves your browser, it is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. For the limited analytics we do collect, we use reputable providers and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Data Retention

We do not hold accounts, so there are no account records to retain. Aggregate analytics are retained per Google Analytics' standard settings. Your register remains in your browser until you clear it.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you (for example, a support email or newsletter subscription). Email us and we'll help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Principles.

Children's Privacy

Asset Licence Register is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
